This year's attractive exhibition of the "Friends of the Sea" project, entitled "The Island of Krk - from the Air", is visiting the island of Krk from June 3 to August 26.
For the twelfth year, the "Friends of the Sea" exhibition is touring the squares and waterfronts of Istria and the northern Adriatic. During the summer of 2022, the exhibition is thematically dedicated to our golden island - the island of Krk.
This exhibition aims to show the public the architecture of the island of Krk from the perspective of flyers who often look at us curiously from their heights and allow us, as visitors, to conjure a unique visual flight experience, at least for a moment. In 30 large-format pictures, the exhibition presents a series of photographs taken from above, either by a drone or from a plane. It encompasses all major towns and villages on the island and the natural attractions surrounding them.
Accompanying the photo of each destination are the QR codes the visitors can scan to connect with the local tourist board, making the experience more exciting and multi-media based.

The works were selected by the expert team of the "Rovinj Photodays" festival, and exhibitors are Petar Trinajstić, Sanjin IlIć, Luka Tabako, and Marko Paradžik.
In cooperation with the Tourist Board of the island of Krk and all the tourist boards on the island of Krk, the exhibition will be hosted by: the city of Krk, Baška, Njivice, Šilo, Malinska, and Punat.
