A gastronomic event which has the task of popularizing the noble Mediterranean fruit.
The fig, a sweet-tasting fruit with a soft, chewy texture, has been feeding people in the Mediterranean for centuries. In honor of this Mediterranean fruit, the gastronomic event Fig Days is held in the town of Krk at the end of August. During the Days of Figs, restaurants offer delicious fig dishes, and many workshops are organized near the city's main park and local farmers sell their fig products.
